Effective March 14, 2022, the ACOL Business Financial Office will no longer accept credit card payments over the telephone as a method to apply funds to deposit accounts (Account Top Up).

The decision to discontinue accepting your credit card number and the corresponding security code over the phone is based on several factors, such as, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Ongoing risk assessments to identify processes where your credit card number and security code might be subject to a compromise.
  2. Advice from our auditors on how to further minimize credit card fraud.
  3. The complexities required to ensure that your credit card number and security code are not stored in recorded telephone conversations.
  4. Industry-wide trend to move away from providing credit card information over the telephone and towards using more secure online-based solutions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we do offer the following options for you to apply funds to your account:

  1. Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer: This is a one-time setup and allows for automated top ups based on your settings.
  2. Electronic Cheque: Allows you to add funds to your account when you want via a PPRS ACOL Client Services (ACS) menu option.
  3. Paper cheque or money order: Use surface mail to mail a cheque or money order.
  4. Direct deposit: A process to send deposits directly to the ACOL financial institution.

Instructions on how to apply funds to your account for the above listed options are described at the following URLs:

Please contact the ACOL Business Financial Office if you would like assistance in setting up any of these options and/or if you have any questions or comments regarding this change.
