The Personal Property Registry (PPR) records interests in personal property (motor vehicles, boats, inventory, accounts, etc.). PPRS provides businesses and individuals with ability to register and search registries in the four Atlantic provinces plus Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
A Driver Insurance Abstract is a brief summary of a person's driving record. DIAS provides registered insurers with online access to request this information from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Many Nova Scotia "Online Services" for individuals and businesses are delivered in part through ACOL. This includes: motor vehilce permit renewal, driving test reservation request, driver change of address, requests for birth and marriage certificates, and other services.
The Nova Scotia Historical Vital Statistics Online service allows the public to search, view, and buy electronic or certified paper copies of historical births, marriages and deaths in Nova Scotia. Available historical records are for births over 100 years old, marriages over 75 years old and deaths over 50 years old.
An online store and shopping cart software solution which integrates with Canada Post for shipping fees and the ACOL payment service for credit card and Interac Online payments. Currently available for Nova Scotia Maps and Publications online.
A number of other Government of Nova Scotia services are delivered in part through ACOL. The primary support provided by ACOL is for online payment services (for example, paying by payment card) and for online store capabilities.
