Temporary Closures

June 24, 2020 – Courier redirection for ACOL – During the COVID-19 Pandemic the ACOL office building is closed. Any mail sent via Canada Post will be redirected to our alternative site. However, if using a courier, the redirection may not be available and you will require extra information from the Business Financial Office.

As an alternative, we recommend that you switch to using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Electronic Cheque option available to all registered users. This is a simple and prompt method of topping up your account. The Business Financial Office would be pleased to help you set this up.

In either case, please contact the Business Financial Office for further instructions at 1-855-324-2265 option 4.

May 26, 2020 – Nova Scotia Land Registry Offices are temporarily closed throughout the province. This means access to the kiosks used to perform single PPRS transactions are unavailable. As an alternative, you can use one of these methods to access the online NS PPRS services: the Lien Check Service for serial number searching; a third-party service provider (if you have one or two transactions and want the ease of a knowledgeable provider); a full ACOL account (if you plan to become a regular user of PPRS); or a Judgment Client Account if you have won a judgment in a NS court and want to file a judgment-type registration, and you want an account that you can use to maintain the registration. Please find more information here.
