Amendments to the Northwest Territories Personal Property Security Regulations

On December 1, 2019, amendments to the Northwest Territories Personal Property Security Regulations will come into force. Starting December 1, 2019, fees payable under Schedule B of the Personal Property Security Act will change, as follows:

1.	To effect a registration of a financing statement respecting a security agreement under the Act or a registration under the Factors Act or the Sale of Goods Act.	$400 for infinity registration life or $10 plus $7 each year for optional registration life from one to 25 years	$400 for infinity registration life or $15 plus $9 each year for optional registration life from one to 25 years
2.	To effect a registration of a financing change statement renewing a registration relating to a security agreement under the Act or a registration under the Factors Act or the Sale of Goods Act	$400 for infinity registration life or $10 plus $7 each year for optional registration life from one to 25 years	$400 for infinity registration life or $15 plus $9 each year for optional registration life from one to 25 years
6.	To obtain a search result by the name of the debtor	$7 for each name searched	$10 for each name searched
7.	To obtain a search result by serial number in respect of serial numbered goods	$7 for each serial number searched	$10 for each serial number searched
8.	To obtain a search result by registration number	$7 for each registration number searched	$10 for each registration number searched
