Access Procedures
Access to the Northwest Territories Personal Property Registry (PPR) is provided electronically by ACOL.
This requires an ACOL account with PPR access privileges, unless the client wishes to perform searches only. To acquire an account, simply follow the ACOL Access Procedures.
Clients may access the PPR via two methods:
- remote access – from your home or office using your personal computer; and
- public access terminal located at the Legal Registries office in Yellowknife (registry staff are available for assistance and searches, but they will not enter information in the system on behalf of the client).
Present ACOL clients who want access to the NT PPR should contact the ACOL Client Support Centre and request:
- the ACOL Addendum to Client Application (to be completed and returned); and
- the NT PPR Product Description.
These forms are also part of the ACOL Information Kit and are available on this web site.
Once the Addendum has been completed and returned, access privileges will be granted.
