Access Procedures for NB DIAS

Access to the New Brunswick Driver Insurance Abstract Service (NB DIAS) is provided electronically by ACOL. The users of this service are typically insurance agents or brokers who want to retrieve a profile of a specific driver.

This requires an ACOL account with NB DIAS access privileges. To acquire an account, simply follow the ACOL Access Procedures.

Clients may access the NB DIAS via two methods:

  • the Internet with a standard web browser; and
  • a Remote Machine Access (RMA) interface.
Present ACOL clients who want access to the NB DIAS should contact the ACOL Client Support Centre and request:
  • the ACOL Addendum to Client Application (to be completed and returned); and
  • the NB DIAS Product Description.
These forms are also part of the ACOL Information Kit and are available on this web site.

Once the Addendum has been completed, returned to Unisys, and approved by the New Brunswick Registrar of Motor Vehicles, access privileges will be granted.
